Chess
Gameplay Notes
- Red = light pieces (goes first)
- Blue = dark pieces
- Click and drag to move pieces
- If a move is illegal, the piece is put back
- For promotion: the square is divided in four, click on the piece you want
- For castling: drag the king onto the target rook
- When the game is over (checkmate or draw), hold space to see the board
- Then, press escape or enter to quit
Other Notes
- You might need to update your Java to run this program, see the link at the top of the page
- The window's title shows the turn
- The title also shows the values of the pieces captured

- Play against a bot that makes random moves
- It's really, really bad...and it doesn't know how to castle
